Orange County Courthouse
Santa Ana, CA

Interior of CourthouseThe 1901 Orange County Courthouse is a three-story reinforced concrete frame structure with a sandstone facade. The seismic strengthening program was especially sensitive in order to retain the historical fabric of the courtrooms and general services office. The building was partially occupied during the restoration by Heritage Orange County offices, County Services, and the County of Orange Historical Commission. Heritage Architecture & Planning was responsible for all of the design for the lower, main floor, and stairway modifications.
